(Space is limited to twenty participants). \nLearn how to use acupuncture meridians to empower your bodywork! Structured for accelerated learning\, this two-day seminar can provide more practical understanding than an entire course in shiatsu or acupressure. \nOur focus will be on applying acupuncture concepts to massage therapy assessment and treatment. We will learn some points but emphasis is on the meridian pathway itself. We will trace fourteen meridians and study the associated muscles\, organs\, emotions\, and pathologies. If you keep hearing about meridians and wish you understood them better\, this is a rare opportunity to increase your confidence and therapeutic effectiveness by spending two days immersed in them. \nOn the second day\, we cover five categories of acupuncture points including entry and exit points\, front mu and back shu points and command points. Working with these points will deepen our understanding and comfort level with the meridian pathways. It sounds like a lot of material but the content of this class is structured to meet the needs of massage therapists and other bodyworkers. Each segment is designed to enhance clinical results. \nThis seminar is a perfect complement to classes in muscle testing and Touch For Health Kinesiology. The material will also be very much appreciated by practitioners of chi gung or tai chi. The concepts and hands-on techniques are useful for anyone who is interested in meridians and health. \nBring:\nSomething to write with.
